My friend and intellectual mentor, Werner Erhard (Erhard Seminars Training "est," Communication Workshop for Educators, The Forum), is often asked if he plans on writing a book (people crave his wisdom).* I've paraphrased his reply: Nothing I have to say is worth writing about. If ever I were to write a book it would be about communication of which I know "a little." Here we are, 40 years later, and no book. Werner once said that it's virtually impossible to get past the mind to the all-knowing self using the mind. In other words, written words seldom disappear undesirable behaviors.  Still, these cookies for the mind are interesting. Yes?

* Wisdom experienced and shared (communicated) by a wise person gets gotten. The same wise words understood and delivered by someone in the process of mastering communication, such as myself, as a communicologist, and all speech-communication professors, have (for decades) been causing 25% of all college freshman to require remedial comprehension and composition make-up courses to learn what their K-12 "teachers" failed to communicate.

Note
: Virtually all "teachers" are non-verbally dragging one or more significant thoughts they are withholding from someone of significance (as in deceiving), into each present-day interaction. Such deceit is abusive, ergo, less than desirable outcomes.   Withholds serve as barriers to communicating subject matter and to manifesting one's stated intentions, I.e. All student pass with legible penmanship. All education and health-care majors are granted diplomas even though they are/were deceiving one or more relatives/friends. With 44+ years of 3-hr coaching sessions I have not found a single exception to this phenomenon. --Kerry
