lectures

Lectures:

Lectures are presented by Kerrith H. (Kerry) King, president of Communications. Kerry is a dynamic lecturer. He is extremely entertaining and engaging. Be it a consultation, workshop, or lecture, most report they experience a transformation.

Lectures may be scheduled for a minimum of 60 minutes up to an entire day. Lectures involve voluntary audience participation. The lecture must be the only scheduled guest lecture of the day.

The Event Chairperson must arrange for the lecturer to be introduced on time. For example: If a sixty-minute lecture is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am it must begin at 9:00 am. It will end at exactly 10:00 am.

Because so much happens within the first few minutes no one is allowed to enter the room once the lecture has started. Free:

  • Accommodations and first-class travel costs if off-island is paid for by the participant.

consults

Consultations:

A consultation is a three-hour session with a communication-skills coach, by phone or in person. Free:

A consult is not about being taught something, however, one does discover things about his/her communication model, things that serve as barriers to the experience of communication with all others. These discoveries later allow for choice. The process is educational as opposed to therapeutic. It's about being willing to be contributed to. The agreement is that the participant is requesting feedback/coaching on his or her communication model in support of producing a specific result. In other words, if the participant is an educator, the facilitator will offer the kinds of feedback that will support them in producing the results they say they want. After a consult the participant will find themselves communicating from a place of certainty in areas in which there were none. It is an extremely powerful experiential discovery-learning experience.
