Some Thoughts About Spanking:

There are thousands of articles about spanking children, some in favor others opposed. It's occurred to me that any position (specifically my position) against spanking empowers (further entrenches) those who still justify it as a tool for "punishing" or getting children to behave. That is to say, a position against spanking, especially a self-righteous one, flailed against spankers, itself is lacking compassion and is abusive. Does it not invalidate, strike out at, abuse and hurt the spanker? It's an abusive self-righteous judgement about his/her culture.

A position automatically brings forth (creates) an equal and opposite position and shuts down (true) communication.
