Could you please explain this?

Hi Kerry

Thank you for your guidance.

Re: "BTW: Minimizing a perpetration doesn't complete it—because such an acknowledgment covertly and unconsciously contains an explanation, a justification, a reasonable modifier, an adjective that minimizes the incident; it doesn't allow you to experience the sadness, the embarrassment, the grief. i.e. I hit, I stole, I abused —without descriptive modifiers."

I have read and re-read this and am not sure what it means. Am I to add my feelings about the different perps/acks to the description. I have felt all the sadness, embarrassment and grief but have been keeping the admissions stripped down and to the point. Is this what you mean by minimizing?

Thank-you

Elephant

Hi Elephant,

I was referring to your clearing in which you said something to the effect, [. . . I only did it once ...] and another I recall, such as [I didn't hit the dog hard.] I hope this gives you some sense of what I was referring to.

Also, please re-read the instructions and samples.

You're doing great.

Kerry

Hi Kerry

Thankyou, I understand now, I see I was trying to minimize in some perps/acks . I will be more aware of this now.
Thank you
